Will Mk2 Headlights fit on a Mk1??

Quick question to one and all.  I have a full beam Hella head light broken and was wondering if a Mk2 one will fit as I have one available to purchase but I can look at it to check?

as above not a directr swap, but sometimes you can seperate the light unit from the metal backing plate and swap over. however if the lights are different makes this probably wouldnt work.

edit: however since GSF do hella lights for cheap, probably not worth the effort!
