Will Mk1 Scirroco seats . . .

Will Mk1 scirroco seats (front and back) fit straight into my mk1 (89) clipper ?!

Nope! Front ones do (but I think they're lower), the back ones won't.

I dunno about the rears but it seems to me like they'd be wider in the scirroco than the golf,  but my 1987 golf has the same front seats as a mk1 scirroco so you can swap them.

I know this cos the garage i bought my car from also had a mk1 scirroco which had the same trim and everything and they swapped the seats about when showing the cars so whichever was showing had the better nick seats in them (i chose the shonky seats as i'm recovering them anyway)
