which seats

Can any one tell me what seats from other golfs( ie mk2, mk3 ,mk4) will straight into my 1992 gti sportline,

This comes up quite a lot, its probably worth using the search engine and reading through some previous threads on the subject.

scirocco, corrado, mk2 golf, mk3 polo (height adjust only, otherwise frame needs swapping)
mk3 golf will fit but only if you swap the base foam/fabric over to a MK2 90spec base frame.

at the back is the problem, only mk1 cab seats fit direct, other seats will be tricky to mod as cab bench is narrow and also the upright isnt very 'tall' due to all the strengthening that was added
