Which Seats

What seats will fit straight into a MK1?
Will MK2 seats fit.
I saw some great Audi seats today, would Audi seats fit?
Is there a year to go up to, like up to a 1990 golf seat will fit etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

There are a few others.
You can make any seats fit, I used to have Escort RS Recaros in my mk1, you just need to mount the scirocco subframes to them.

For ?200 ish you could pick up a black leather interior from a mk1 scirocco storm, front seats will go straight in and rear seats will with a little work  8)

mk2 seats will go straight in but you got to change the adjusting bar underneath for a mk 1  one  :wink:

The MK1 Polo seats will fit but the rear two ?legs? are a lot shorter than the Golfs so you?ll end up quite low down??.. 8O  MKII Polos may be the same?

Not sure how easy or otherwise it is to swap over the covers between the two different seat bases :?:
