wheel refurb

anybody know some1 who can refurb 15" bbs ra's, around the birmingham west midlands area :dontknow:

I've noticed a place as I pass South down the M6 through Brum called Laptab (I think). It's near Fort Dunlop. Their workshop is right on the edge of the M6, so you can see the sign from the motorway. Don't know how good they are though……..

ive spoke to them yesterday, and he wants ?50 plus vat per wheel  8O

i heard very good things about laptab so might be worth it, but there is also a place near wolverhampton which is supposed to be very good, i will find out later as im sure i have the details at home

do you mean a1 wheel refurb, they are ok at ?45 per wheel

A1 will want more than that when you take them in, belive me, they tell u a price to get u there then say they'll cost more!!  last set of 15"ra's i took in cost me ?280 and that was 5 years ago they didn't want to do them they we're saying we'll sell u new wheels and tyres for that, my wheels were not bent just light curbing, don't get me wrong they we're like new a week later and are the best place around dudley/brum/wolverhampton lap tap just paint they don't sort curbing( unless they've changed!) there was also another place in the trader but the name escapes we but they to were cr*p for the money! there is a place in notingham that charge ?40 a wheel they are really good as good as A1 our tt wheels on ebay were done by them A1 wanted ?85 a rim they were done for ?40 or the diesel money to deliver and collect for over half price refurb!

just noticed someone else advises nottingham i'd go that way think we have the number still

I had mine done last year at laptab and was really impressed, when I came to pay they had gone up a bit so I said what we had agreed and they dropped the price.

Had Pirelli P slots done though without the black so was quite an easy job for them.
