Wheel Diameter?

Hi Guys,

Im picking up my first Mk1 Cabby at the weekend and I'd like to put some new wheels on it. Its a sportline and has the standard alloys on it in good condition with quite new tyres all round if anyone is interested they'll be for sale soon! Anyway If I get 15" wheels what will it do too my speedo? What tyres dimensions should I get to avoid scrubbage (was plagued by problems with my old polo). The rims are 7x15 with a 12mm offset.

I know this is a bombardment of questions but I was getting nowhere with the search.

Many thanks

Angus

5 days till I get my cabby :)  :)  :)  :)  :)  :)

Hi , try this, there is a link on here where you put in your wheel and tyre size, and it tells you what difference it makes to the speedo. Hope it helps.
