What type of paint??? please help....

 Evening chaps, very shortly i'll be ready for laying down some paint on my mk1 caddy. It's the first car i've ever painted…..well anything i've ever painted, i've been researching for months, but i'm bamboozled but the different types of paints…………there's acrylic, cellulose, poly….sommat, 2k etc. I've got me head around the primer side of things…i think, is that 1k or 2k??
               All i want is a deepest gloss show shine over some airbrushing, the base coat will be a flat blue colour, no metallic.


please help!!
