What is the colour of my car?
Just wondering if anyone recognises this colour? I have been having a bit of trouble finding out for definite. I was told it was Baikal blue but I'm 99% sure that it isn't.
I want to find out before I go ahead with the respray.
Cheers.

Yes I know the wheels are rubbish, they came with the car and will be getting binned in the near future.
Seriously though does anyone have a clue as to what BLUE it is?

Are you serious about those wheels? If you are interested you will have to wait a few months for them cos at the moment they are low on the list of jobs to do. Unless of course you have set for PX that I might be interested in?

DubPartz - Yeah It's an 83 Driver. I was told when I bought it that it was Baikal blue but I have since seen a colour sample of Baikal and its not even slightly similar.
Just had a look at the site that has been linked earlier in the post and it lists one non-metallic blue called Pargas blue - this looks like a good match. Might see if my local paint shop will mix up a tester.

The good book (83 Brochure) does list two blues….
Non-metallic is indeed Pargas Blue and looking back at 82 and earlier brochures it would appear this was a new shade of Blue. The code listed is just two digits….'J1'
The more consistent blue down the years was Regatta Metallic Blue.
My only doubt about saying 100% would be that Drivers from 81 had a couple of exclusive colours, which are shown in another brochure. So, there is a chance this shade is uinque to 83 Drivers.
I Hope this helps
