what is my paint code - no sticker but have pick! mk1 cab

as title the sticker is so faded and partially scraped away so i have no paint code. the car has been sprayed before but by the looks of things in the original colour…. I'm trying to sort out the shocking paint whilst the weather is nice!

car is as shown below looks like a metallic red born march 1982

The third photo in your post looks like Mars red, but your car looks more like Surinam Red Metallic - paint code  LA3Y.  According to the Cabby Info website this was an colour option in 1982.

It could also be Indiana Red Metallic - paint code LA3V - which was an option on cars between 1979 and 1981.

I'm not sure if I am allowed to post links here to external sites.  PM me and I will send you a link to the colour index on the Cabby info site.  I think if you look at the options on this site you will be best placed to judge the closets match to your original colour.
