What fluid for Cab electric roof?

Is it hydraulic oil? Cant be arsed to get it from VW if i can get it from Halfords.

Same oil as the vw power steering oil G002000, dont think you can get it anywhere other than vw. Its about ?6.50 liter & vat

Surely there is another generic that is the same…

I know quite a few power steering cars use automatic gearbox oil for the power steering - you know - the red stuff.  Got a Gallon of it knocking about somewhere

Using the wrong stuff can damage the seals in the pump etc..
