water getting in too

when it rains it drips in the drivers side on to the pedals and the carpet any theories?

Maybe not matter tho. Have you checked the drain plugs at each end of bulk head, where wiper motor is? If they are blocked water will spill over in to heater matrix and land on floor - could land on pedals?
