Anyone done it before & got any tips for fitting the headlining & any recommendations of what glue to use on the lips of the shell?
really not looking forward to doing it but needs must…

In all fairness you just need to take your time, make sure you stretch it out well. I used the spray glue that Newtons supplied but that soon ran out, after that I used some stuff that I found in B&Q. I did also buy some brush on contact adheasive but that didn't seem to work very well.
Lay the new head lining out to reduce the fold marks as well. I was told by the guy who helped me fit mine that I should use a steamer to help remove all the crease marks. I'm yet to do this though.
Use bull dog clips to help hold it in place whilst the glue drys also buy some "U" shaped trim clips (got mine from ebay). Also get some panel wipe/degreaser to get off any glue over spray.
Any ways I hope it all goes well for you and good luck.
