yes it's for a genuine one. Brand new from a dealer with VW partmarks and stickers too.

Ask your mate for a price i would like to know if he can better it.

i could only get one from GPC luton for well over ?100, and it turned out to be a cabriolet one. make sure it isnt this, as it is DIFFERENT for the grill!

I have a genuine front panel too but it has a longer towing eye, has holes for later cabrio grille and has no captive nuts welded to the slam panel. I'm not sure a Genuine front panel is available from VW that matches ones on UK tintops anymore.  :dontknow:

Dealer yes, but not a VW VAG Dealer. I'm gonna look it over see if it's cab or not.

The part number on mine is 171 805 591 BK

Its not the same as a late cabrio front panel. These have extra strengthening around the towing eye and will have the captive nuts welded on the slam panel. It might be for a Citi golf?
