Swallow tail

Hi all
Does any one have a swallow tail mk1
Could you post a pic so i can compare it to mine, What models did these come in?

Swallowtails came in base Golf, L, S and LS versions both 2 and 4 door. There are hundreds of differences between the early cars and later ones (not all easily visible) and the changes did not all occur at Model Year change (i.e. August of the year). Many people are confused as to what a Swallowtail actually is and the website is wrong in quite a few places. For example the early heaters and bonnets continued in production beyond the Swallowtail rear panel which finished at the end of 1975. Early bonnets finished in Spring 1976 and the heater change happened in August 1976. The exact definition of the car can only be seen from the VIN.
