Suggestions for paint mixing people (Halfords is rubbish)

VW don't stock it anymore but I need a spray can for touch up.

Halfords is rubbish, its far too dark.

Ideally I need this ASAP.

Color code is LD3V, Sienna Red Metallic.

Somewhere near Slough, Berkshire.

Ideas?

Postal service from Choose Car paints from the UKs biggest online colour database . Good but double check the paint code before ordering .

Sometimes the problem is old paint fades with the Sun etc.
If you look for a paint motor factors in phone book etc you can get some mixed up there, as they can use a spectrometer to analylize the pigments to see what shade the paint is, so any thing they mix should be very accurate. We have 2 in Derby VRS motor finishes and Morley motor factors, but thats not much use as you live so far away, but this may help folks locally, unless you fancy a drive

The spectrometer will only come up with the closest match from the paint manfacturer, not make up a colour for you!!

So you could end up with a peugeot colour!!!!!!!

Vrs and Morleys aren't too brill either I have used them both on numerous occasions for work.

Fair do's, not personally used them myself to be fair either, just other folk recomended them to me, was going to use them for mixing me up some Helios blue, unless you know somewhere better in our area, only need enough to refinish the bumpers on my cabby and blow in around the door shuts, just to freshen  her up a bit, so thought I could get a large aerosol made up.

you need to take the car to the paint shop, he can match it easier as most paint codes have around 6 if not more different shades depending on year, my car has around 13 shades of black for the paint code!
