Struggling to match paint!!!

Hi guys,

I know there's a shed load of requests about paint code colours but I'm really struggling and pulling out the last of the hair I've got on my head!

I've got a '82 Cabby - although that's a bit irrelevant as I'm pretty sure it's had a respray at some point?! Obviously I don't know for certain whether they've actually used a golf paint at all but I'm kind of hoping they have …..

It's Dark Blue, by the process of elimination I've worked out it's not Classic Blue or Inka Blue but somewhere in between?!

By chance, has anyone got an example photo's of the following colour codes?
Blue Pearl LC5Z
Midnight Blue Pearl LC5V
Windsor Blue Metallic LN5Y
Helious Blue Metallic LA5Y

Thanks in advanced for your help

take the car or a panel to your nearest paint supplier they will give it a quick clean then put it on there paint scanner and match it for you ,you do not need a paint code just take it along ,

Like above if theres a possibility of colour change it's best to get the paint shop to scan it. Looking on the cabby info site the dark blue they did for 1982 was Baikal Blue LK5A.

Some paint suppliers use a tool called a Spectro it takes a photo of the panel gives you a paint code and will even tint the formula to give 99% match which is pretty good
