steering wheel badge?
Hi everyone.
I have just bought a 1.1 c for a project car. Im still new to this and i dont know entirely what Im looking at. anyways my steering wheel has a badge which looks like a wolf/dog howling, Ive not seen it anywhere before until i spotted it on another 1.1c on another post and i wondered if anyone had any clues to what it is? was it only used on 1.1 c's or is this an aftermarket alteration that both cars have had.
cheers guys.

It's the Wolfsburg VW factory symbol (I'm pretty sure it's a wolf, makes sense!), and is on the non-GTi model steering wheels, including this fatter type on a lot of Golf C's of a certain year, all CL's and GL's etc :
Also on the more basic skinnier Golf C and Caddy steering wheels with a more square small horn push (often just a black stamp, not etched?)
Although it does feature on the early GTi steering wheels like this (deep inside the horn push, out of sight):

You may also see the Wolfsburg shield on stickers etc :
Or the 'running Wolf' on decals and stickers etc :
I feel like a bit of a geek now, but hope this helps!
