Speakers

Hi,

Can anyone reccomend any good speakers to use?

kind of a vague question.
original positions or custom? Does your car have original door speaker "holders"?
what do you listen to?
budget?

vibe seem ok for a non amplified system , good sound at a reasonable price

They are original speakers in the car now with original door casing, budget is under 100

I picked up some JVC front speakers that fit exactly in the front door card trim, I've had no problems with these. I've also just stuck some 6x9's in the parcel shelf like everyone does, cant remember what make they are. They are good too, but only when I've got my cabs hood up!

i got kenwood in the door speaker holders, 6x9 in shelf, sound ok wen roof up, abit poor when down, but i have an engine to listen too then lol

I replaced my original broken ones with these sony ones.
 
£15 and they sound ok to me  (fit in the front door perfectly (Late cabby)

I've opted for 6x4 JBL's in the past and been happy with quality and price.

mk3 golf's use them so you should be able to get them from VW
