Soft Tops Croydon any good?

I'm getting my roof done as soon as now. But I'm unsure of where to get it done. I'm currently going with a place in chessington called cartood warehouse. There rep is fantastic. But there is a local place virtually on ky doorstep. However I don't know if anyone has used this place. It's called soft tops and its in croydon and advertised in eBay. Let me know what you think.

Contact Car Hoods Northern…. despite their name, they are a national company and have been used by many from this site.

A fitter can attend your specified location - given enough notice.

And when I'm ready to do my hood in a few weeks time, I know who I'll be using!!!!  :wink:

Have a think about your £15.00 membership fee though - by paying that, you could save yourself that amount by getting discount for your hood in one go…. then there are other parts discounts as you need them!!!  :wink:

Had my cab hood fitted by Soft tops a couple of weeks ago. I paid £325 for mohair fitted, at my place. They guys were professional and helpful, the hood was top quality and well fitted and they gave me some good advice. They recommend a new glass seal be fitted whilst your having it done, most leak after being reused. Over all i was very happy, give them a call. Dean

I got the roof done today at Carhood Warehouse in chessington.

£375. Done in 2 hours and done bloody good as well.

Really neat on the sides the front and the back near the cables.
Would definatley recommend them to all of you guys.

When you say Car Hoods Northern offer a 10% discount, I was told that they would supply a rear cable for free if mine was buggered as I was a paid member, but there was no mention of a an actual 10% discount??

Sorry, meant side cables, the rear cable was £30 extra??

I have been quoted £320 CASH for a vinyl roof fitted at my address…does that sound about right Dano???

To be honest that sounds highly priced. I found a place in croydon 1.5 hours from you. 295 for mohair.

And this place that done mine fitted all new cables inclusive of the price.

I was quoted around 450 by Northern and that was if I was a member.

I would advise to phone around. I believe you will find a much more competitive price.
