soft top mold?
My 1990 GTI cabriolet has quite a lot of green mold gathering on the surface. The material is the modern day material of mo-hair I believe…. basically the same as all the other soft tops out there.. its only a couple of years old and im a little worried its gonna cause me some leaks or something of the sort!
Does anyone know of any solution that can protect the soft top and git rid of the green mold growing on it? Its not attractive!!
Thanks in advance
Dan

Ive used the turtle wax one and it works, also get a very very soft brush I got one for a rabbit from a pet store.
clean off as normal then use the cleaner, work in well with the brush should foam really well.
may take a couple/three goes to get most off over a couple of weekends.
finish off with the proofer/restorer.
If your is a couple of years old you need to find out why its going green so quick, parking under trees etc. I would try and find somewhere dif to park which I know is easier said than done.
