Settling In
Side Strips
I think filler will just fall out (taking the new paint with it).
Any tips on doing this? I see some of you have already.
Anyone filled the groove in altogether?

I personally think it ruins the lines of the car too.
I just filled the trim clip holes by fibreglassing from behind then a touch of filler on the outside.

Side strips
That what I was thinking, I met a carbody fella who said he'd filled the groove in but you have to lead fill it as that much filler just pops out when you shut the doors.
I finally decided to lose the strip when I saw the pictures of your car, so I may be cursing you in a couple of weeks!
