SIDE STRIPES AND TAILGATE SURROUND

A good few months ago I bought a set of the stripes that go along the bottoms of the doors and a tailgate surround decal from www.volkswagenstickers.co.uk, however I only fitted them in the last few days.

I have fitted these to cars I have owned in the past, the first being a set from Volkswagen when they were still available and the second being copy parts. I have to say the originals were fairly easy to fit however the copy ones were a nightmare and I was n't looking forward to doing the job again. Not with the ones that I bought from www.volkswagenstickers.co.uk, these were such good quality that they were a breeze to fit, no stretching, good adhesive and clean edges. The tailgate surround only needing a tiny bit of heat to soft fot the corners.

Granted they might be very slightly more expensive than other companies but quite clearly you get what you pay for.

On a finishing note, I did have a problem with my purchase, however it was my fault and nothing to do with www.volkswagenstickers.co.uk and the company could not do more to help me out. Very highly recommended!

Some of the other stickers look good too. I fancy a set of all the original stickers such as tyre pressure.....etc for my motor. Does anybody know what stickers an 81 GTI would have all had and where about on the body they were/are

**** NOTE ***** with the side stripes also comes the stripe for along the bottom of the tailgate, should you want it (personally I think they look terrible). This is on the same backing paper as the side stripes and so have a good look at what is what before you cut anything……don't do as I did!
