seat recovering

Hi wanting some advice on recovering seats in a cabrio they are in good nick but really grubby and the wrong cover so wanted to have a go at retrimming them myself has anybody on here done that and can you give advice thank you

ive just started taking mine apart to do the same…ive taken one seat apart, really really simple to do, it literally will then just all go back on with a clip gun and thats about the size of it…

im keeping one seat complete as a reference for the one ive taken apart..

let me know how it goes…cant be too bad as long as u r accurate and choose a material that wnt stretch

no, anything close to vw will cost you about 50-200 quid a metre, most other materials are aroudn 10 quid a metre for somethign hard wearing…go make something custom?

Hi i dont have any material trying to find out best place to get it from i have never done this before so its trial and error for me so was wanting help into finding where to source it from cheers june

Sorry, I thought you wanted to gte the hole car retrimmed so you have had the old material left over.
