Seat Bolster replacement

Hello all
I have just got into the world of Mk1 Golf GTI's - what great cars!!
Unfortunately, my drivers seat bolster has gone in the usual places.
I was wondering if anyone knew of companies that made the materials?
I have a friend who is able to stitch it but I am keeping me eyes open for any companies that could do it professionally.
Was thinking about leather too.
Can anyone help me out.
Many thanks
Dan

I am in the Lodon/Essex area if that helps

Any chance of you posting some pics or instructions on replacing the foam. I've got a donor passenger seat i'd like to use as the drivers seat outside foam is a little soft.

Remove the seat (bolt at the front on centre runner and slide out the back)
Split the backrest from the squab by levering off tilt adjust wheel cover, undoing the 10mm bolt underneath together with wheel, removing hinge covers (punch out 3 dowels), then removing circlips and lever seat apart.
The base foams are easier to replace, the covers are held by hog rings and the foams glued in.
Backrest foams are a little more complicated (they are one piece) so you need to remove the whole cover. Start by prising up the 5 or 6 sharp prongs at the bottom to release the centre section. You can then access all the hog rings and cover wires. You will need to release the headrests and headrest tubes. The tubes can be released by using a socket on top of the prongs but the prongs can break. Once the tubes and hog rings are all released, the tilt lever and trim pulled off, the complete cover can be pulled off in one piece. The foam is again glued in place.

Later cabs have one piece base foams I think but should be similar procedure.
