seat belt

Hiya all im trying to find information or diagrams on how the fit the mk1 front and rear seat belts back into the car as they just come in a box .

They just bolt in to the mounting points. On the front there's the reel, a cover with a slit in it (which makes fitting easy), the top bit and the bottom bit on the sill. There might be little plastic covers which snap off. The buckle latches into the slot which is fitted on the seat, not the bodywork of the car. The only issue might be the spring on a 3 door (certain models) which might be fitted, to keep the belt out the way to allow rear seat passengers to enter/exit without tripping over the belt.

The rears just bolt in, although you need to slot it through the parcel shelf supports.

Do you need to know where the mounting points are on the bodywork, to bolt them into? Or are missing the bolts and fittings?

i just have a box of bolts spacers etc so im not sure what gies where  :dontknow:

front top:
spacer -> washer -> belt -> washer -> bolt -> cover cap

front 3door bottom:
big metal plate -> spacer -> washer -> belt -> washer -> bolt -> big spring
(the spring makes belt flip backwards so out of way for passengers getting in/out back)

front 5 door bottom:
spacer -> small washer -> big washer -> belt -> big washer -> bolt

rear top:
spacer -> support arm if included -> washer -> belt -> washer -> bolt -> cover cap
rear belts just bolted down at base, no washers or owt
