Seat Belt question.

Hello, i was wondering what the difference betweeen Static and Auto Seat Belt for Front mounting, i need to buy 2 new complete seat belts cause the one i had in my VW was to crapy.
so i dont bother testing it throug the EU controll (Norwegian MOT)

I think they use 'Auto seat belts' on modern american cars for example…they're often motorised and slide onto you automatically when you shut the door or turn on the engine…effectively forcing you to wear them! Static ones are just bolted onto a fixed mounting place and you pull the belt across yourself!  :wink:
