S1 Bumper End Caps

Ok, well I brought my MK1 without any bumpers and now I've got to the dreaded fitting up stage I've got myself a set of series 1 bumpers to go on her.

My problem is everywhere I look, to me it looks as though everyone has their end caps on upside down? Surly the longer side of the end cap would go on top to follow the wheel arch line? cf_emoticons__BangHead: I noticed it in this months PVW where all 3 MK1 features had upside down bumpers fitted??

I'm probably alone in this boat but does anyone know what way up the end caps are meant to sit or if its Taboo'd to put the end caps on the way that I think is the correct way?

They are meant to sit that way! Suppose you could try them the other way though
