Rusty patches down the bare metal ..next step. Help please.
There was some patches of rust on my golf's roof which are now down to bare metal. untill i get it sprayed what shall i do. I have some grey primer and some red oxide spray. Which is better to spray over the bare metal or are they both the same pruducts really?. Some tiny holes did appear but they will be filled over in time. Just want to stop the bare metal rusting up again. Some advice would be wikid atm since im hoping to do the job tomoz night.

not to sure think the red oxide is cheaper but the etch sticks better with beter protection but either should do the job just herd etch is better for bare metal that wat ill be using will be doing full shell as bare metal

spray with primer then some colour,
if you use just primer the rust will just reappear,
primer is like a sponge and water will be absorbed
not alot off people know that, but a tip woth remembering

Red oxide first mate, then stick your primer on top if you want. Red oxide will stop/help prevent rust
