Roof Skin Fitting HELP

So I might just have my hands on a roof skin from round my way, and I was wondering how to go about fitting it?

I've seen the carbon fibre and fibreglass ones being stuck in with the same polyurethane as I used on my sunroof, but would I do this with an ordinary roof skin providing it's all cleaned correctly and watertight?

Or should it weld in?

definately a weld in job, im planning on doing the same, the only part im stuck on is the channels along either side of the roof as peeling the folded section back is going to buckle it badly, everything else seems straight forward enough

3m do a 2k metal bonding product. I have fitted lots of roof skins with way better than welding no distortion with it and the beauty of it is the roof can be painted before its fitted
