Roll Over Jig/Spit

Anyone know where to buy one?

Or anyone built one and wouldn't mind giving me some dimensions.

Cheers

sorry if that sounded abrasive

just that bought ones are seriously dear compared to what you can make yoruself

mine was about 20 quid for steel and i found the big castors for 20 quid near my home…

main thing is making it easy to turn over and easy to move around!

don't worry about trying to find dimensions - just get under the car and measure out a square linking the axle and rearward wishbone bolt points

then have the legs heading up to car roof level - simple enough..

Carbs man - your pictures rock - your regular updates have kept me and a lot more going!!!

mine arnt a patch!!

As for the Frost roller - its ok, but you need hubs and axles… my golf was completly bare - i had it dipped - so when i was welding etc i had nothing to work on..

couple more photos of my sad and expensive addiction for ya!

I'd like something like these jigs, where they go into the bumper holes, would the bumper holes support a car as is, ie with engine in etc etc. Don't want it to roll, just be up in the air so i can work under the car, remove axles, weld the sills etc etc  but not remove the engine. Axle stands just get in the way!

i think you are at risk of changing the geometry of the car - the sill is a major structural part of the shell's longitudianl strength, consider lifting the car at either end, then removeing the sill, or even just cutting it?

its gonna turn into a banana!

axle stands or a ramp mate!
