restoration new door/window rubber seals - where can i get

hi i am restoring a 1983 1.8 gti and need most of the seals/rubbers for the door windows …can i get these new - esp the scraper seals??

only place i have seen them, not sure if they are available from vag

be careful getting the seal that takes the chrome trim. Getting the chrome insert is something I havent managed so far.

also one ebay seller has various seals listed, nut no experience of using them.

if anything its tought me to keep hold of all these seals and not just throw away thinking new once will be easy to source! woops!

look under garage/specialists. post written under farout parts us. he ordered some rubbers paid for them and never recieved them. beware. i tryed to get some from my local vw garage last week but no chance. try gpc at luton they may have some.

just remembered where i have seen others. try volkswarenhaus  if your german is good. they show every seal for round doors. but if you click on the english language option they do not seem to list any.unless they are staring me in the face! keep us all posted if you have any sucess as i am after a few seals myself.

I got mine from me vag dealer, mighty expensive though. Mines a cabbie I don't know if they do door seals for tin tops but the weather stripping is the same for both cars.
