Repro front panel

Thinking about saving myself some prep work and buying and welding in a new repro front panel, my question is how well do they fit? Have people done a lot of fettling?

some are good some are not so good.
even same brands may differ!!

Right cool, any one had experience fitting them?

Also is it just plug welding down the sides? Is it welded on at the chassis legs?

yes its welded to the chassis legs too.
