Removing rear seats
I am not a great car mechanic but I can do some handy work. Does anyone know how to remove the rear seats of an mk1 golf, what tools will I probably need and is it an easy job?
Thanks allot.

If its a tin top all you will need is maybes a screwdriver to push the 2 clips off either side of the seat which u will see when you lie the seats down and then you just pull the bars out that are on either side of seat from the bodywork and they pull straight out

On a later cabby. The seat base is held in by two screws on tabs that screw down.
The upright is hels in place with 2 screws either side, just push the material to one side at the outside botton corners, you'll see what I mean..

Moved to "Bodywork and Interior" section as this is a mk1 interior question.
