removing/re-using window rubbers?!

hello,so i have decided to spray my mk1 and obviously it will be way better to remove windscreen and side window rubbers.
just wondered are these easy to remove and can they be re used after?

side windows etc pretty simple to remove and are reusable as long as you dont damage them and they're in good nick. windscreen is another matter! they're very fragile so are easy to crack, safest way is to cut the rubber till it lifts out. it is possible to do it and also save the rubber, but if the screen is in good condition its not worth the risk! new windscreen seal imo is recommended anyway, the old one could have shrunk and it may leak. found that one out the hard way!
