Removal of front & rear bumpers

I have no manual and wondered how easy it is to Remove the front & rear bumpers on a mk1 gti cabrio.

I want to respray them and tidy them up

  I know the rear bumper is easy to remove as i've done mine.
             There are two bolts either side inside the boot. Two just bellow the rear washer tank , and  two on the opposite side of boot .  Remove these and pull the bumper back towards you.
            While you have the bumper off it's a good idea to get some waxoyl in the holes where the brackets go as this can be a rust trap.

Front is the same 2 bolts on either front leg under the bonnet just make sure you use loads of wd40 first cos if they have never been off they WILL snap
