Red Pipping

Hi All

Need a tip on how to remove the red paint on the front grill (sand paper -  a little delicate for rubbing down!!) or (paint stripper)???

Does antone know the paint code for these, thinking of doing mine, I know it's Mars Red Number 1, but can't determine the correct code, think it's LA3A??

There was a long discussion about the correct colour for the red piping.  Seems like VW was not as consistent as you might think.

I do all mine with mars Red No2 over red primer.
