rear door handles to replace front door handles...

Hi,

I want to keep my GTI looking pretty standard but was thinking about installing central locking.  If I do can I simply replace the door handles with some rear door handles off of a five door to keep it looking standard but not have the key barrell?

Yes you can, i did it on my passenger door but kept the drivers door standard in case the cental locking goes tits up.

Ok, thanks, do you have a central locking kit you'd recommend or are they all much the same?

They are all much of a much really dude, look to pay aroung the ?70 mark.
