To remove a rear window and refit it is pretty easy.

Whats up with it?

If its the frame that needs replacing due to rust then this is a bigger job but still possible for a competant DIYer. It might be difficult to change the frame if your not changing the roof at the same time as access to the straps at the top of it will be more difficult. You wont have much fabric to pull on to get the hood fabric taught against the frame when it comes to stapling it on.

Check out this guide an you'll see how it all goes together…

Nice guide Ross.

I just got a new rear window and frame from a guy who was breaking a clipper. I plan to renew the frame and get it fitted when I get my roof sorted. Better now than realising I need one later when the roof is off!

I cleaned all my rear seal out the other day as the water was getting in. Will mask it up and put some more sealant in after reading this.

Thanks again!
