rear arches trouble

hi there me again.. jus another quickie my rear arches on my cabby have rust on them i have treated it and sanded it and primed and resprayed it but it has gone through at one point only the outer skin,… no i was wondering or maybe asking which would be better to do in ur opinion.

1. see if i can get hold of some rear arches and cut the old ones of and weld new ones on…

2. my father suggest fibreglass and creating a new arch over the bits that are broken,, at the moment this it the only bad thing about the car i have a new front wing ready to go on and it should be all ok..

3.try and sort a new back section the whole thing and cut the old bit off and re-weld the new section on.. has anybody else had this problem and what did they do to combat it thanks

Thats the only way you will do a proper job , chop out and start again . Plenty of posts on the site . Try the search facilty .

Arches are available through Hadrian and Euro car parts etc , google will give you some links to suppliers
