Quick Grill VW Badge size question ???

Hi Folks,

Can anyone please measure the hole in the grill for a Mk1 VW center badge please? That is the diameter of the VW black insert on a 1983 Mk1 tin top.

Or if anyone has the info to hand?

I'm off to measure….  

between the two fixing holes is 7.5 cm

inner circle diameter is 8 cm

outer circle diamer is 8.7/8.8 cm


These are the measurements for the actual hole, not the VW badge.
