primer help needed!

im looking tor re-weld and re-paint my tailgate,

i have used white primer to do ut the first time and it has come up too light??

so from this should i take that i should use grey primer??

wheres best to get paints from??

Primer colour shouldn't matter, if you apply enough topcoats. Sounds like you have a plain old paint colour mismatch! The closer the primer colour, the less topcoat you need, however - but that's getting into pro bodyshop stuff. Also its possible to 'tint' primers, ie use old stocks of paint to custom colour your own primers, to get a closer primer colour and use even less (expensive) topcoat. But for what you're doing, you can safely not worry about this type of thing.

na mate im having yours off you then working on that to get it bob on and then putting that one on my car!! dont worry mate i am still having it off you, when i finally get back the chance lol!! too much to do!! will be in touch soooon!
