pictures of hood mechanism layout

Hi im new to this, just got me a gti cab, needs alot of sorting out. The hoods on but i can see that the struts are not connected and i think theirs a few bits missing has or can anyone post any pics of their workings of their hood so i can put my big jiggsaw back together. Also when i fire the engine up, starts fine but when i put my foot on the gas it has a flat spot and pops a little but with no power, i have to bring the revs up slow. Does it need a tune. Starts on half a key propper good starter. cheers lads hope you can help. Steve
