Pattern Parts? which company makes the best wings?

Hello guys, I've just had my mk1 tintop sprayed, (photo's coming soon…
) and oneof the wings; a pattern wing looks terrible. when you line it up with the door, it looks wrong beside the bonnet, and vice versa. it's also too short, so the headlight sticks out further than the wing, its the only part which lets the car down. which suppliers offer the closest to the original shape? I wanna get it done soon or the paint won't match, at least for a while… cheers.

To be honest, all pattern wings are crap. I used hadrians ones on my first mk1 about 12 years ago and they we're rubbish. You'd be better getting some good, second hand VAG ones.

thats how i wold go. ya might be lucky and find one at a wrecker. or one that would need minimal work to be straight.

personaly, i'd always avoid pattern body parts, used genuine is the way forward. they'll fit better and last much longer, after all they lasted this long havnt they?!!

the only ones we every found that were any good we're made by pop-on however they are long gone, think took over by svg, they don't make mk1 panels to my knowledge. had some good ones from euro car parts, and some bad ones too!
