PASSENGER SEAT RELEASE CABLE

Can anyone help please? The front passenger seat of my '88 Golf GTI Cabriolet does not fold as the release cable has snapped. Does anyone know where I can buy the cable so that the seat can be fully utilised? Thanks in advance.
