how do i fins out the gloss black paint code my '82 Gti is painted in, should there be a code somewhere???

if not was there only one gloss black that mk1 Gti's came in??? anyone had any troble sourcing paint for there dubs??

I resprayed mine last year and can't remember the code  :banghead:

should be on a sticker inside the back panel, If nobody posts it I'll check tomorrow morning and let you know

L041 is the code. Its the same on my 83 hatchback as my 91 sportline!

hi lift the boot carpet it should be on the boot floor or on a white sticker on the inside of the back pannel. it should be L041

Lhasa Green Paint Code

I need to get paint matched, but short of taking a wing of, i have no idea how to to it. My car was resprayed Lhasa Green years ago, and there is no paint doce, sticker. I can't find it ANYWHERE!

Anyone know it of hand???!!!
