original looking seat cover for the 1980 carbio GLS

Hi all and happy 2013 !!
spoked to a friend of mine about having the original seat cover refurbished..
i was against it since he thought the fabric is allmost 35 years old the material would be fragile
also.. i would need to restich all the parts since they can start come off when i start using the car again..
maybe hes got a point there… so if possible ill like to buy a set of original looking seat covers
i have looked at a few sites and also ebay .. but no luck.
any idea if those are available.. if not.. is there something similar ?
i worst case ill buy a set of hawaii flowers pattern seat covers and use them … heres a pic of the seats
