Opening 1/4 windows

Hi,
I have a set of 1/4 opening windows for my golf but they don't have the chrome trim seals on them.
I want to fit them to my project but I wish to keep the whole windows set up in chrome trim.
Can they be altered or is it one way or the other.
There is also a green tint on them.the car is pea green so it would be nice .I'd have to get the rest in tint, but I have most that way all ready.
Hope there is a easy way out of this.

i'd like to know this too mate, so i can get the correct seals.

What is the correct seal to use to fit the chrome trim? Does is it have a groove for the trim to slip in, or does the trim just push on?

On the windscreen and rear 1/4 and tailgate there is a slot in the rubber but the doors I'm not sure.
Looks like no one has had this hassle before, the front 1/4 opening windows are rare enough but i'd have tought someone would have been in this position before.

I have a set of op qtrs on my car with chrome trim.VW only list ONE seal for chrome and non chrome seals. As you mentioned the other door seals have a specific groove for the seal, whereas the op qtrs dont. You simply fit the all of the seal inside of the chrome trim. Its a tight fit but they do fit and are water tight.I also have a mate with op qtrs with chrome trim and he has done the same without any probs or leakage issues.I have seen at shows people that have fitted the seals to the car exactly the same way.aAs far iam aware there is no such thing as an op qtrs chrome trim seal

Ah,that's great ,any chance you put up a few pics ,close ups etc.would be a great help.
All I have to do now is find the rest of the glass in green tint.
All part of the fun.
