number plate question?

just a quicky

is  it legal to put the front number plate onto the chin splitter?
just wondering coz i got 9 points and dont wana annoy the fuzz too much

Yes but must be secured by screws, and be legible - if its too far from the vertical, may not be but then if you're on 9 points, can't get a fixed penalty and it would go to court. And then the court would decide!

think i'l leave it then dont wana push my luck
