Noise from air vents

I'm having trouble with excessive wind noise through the front windscreen demisting vents. Does anybody know how i could go about investigating the problem further or has anybody experienced similar problems? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Does the noise reduce if you slide the ventillation slider off of the windscreen position?

Mine makes a lot of noise as well - I read somewhere that it's usually down to the fan running against the housing as a result of being off-centre.

Somewhere on the WWW there's a guide to refurbishing the fan.

try;

Although this isn't the site - it does have lots of useful stuff on it and links.

I think it's fairly fiddly to get at the fan, but once you do it's relatively easy to slip in a pice of paper/card to moved the fan so that it doesn't run anymore.

I've tried turning off the vents to the windscreen but that doesn't help. If anyone has had similar problems i'd be grateful for some help.

Thanks

I once had a noisy side vent,it was a leaf in there causing the noise.

Maybe worth a look?

What sort of a noise is it you're getting, knocking? squeeking? creaking? :dontknow:
