NEWBIE - side strip measurements

hi all, new to the site.

im looking to find out what the measurement is for the gap between the sidestripes on the side of gti's.

I have the measurements for the stripe thickness, just want to know how much gap should be between them.

Great site, used it a lot when looking for a project, unfortunately i didnt get a mk1 golf but a mk1 of a different nature (Still vw)

The gap is 15mm
